La Vegas!!

On Wednesday 31st at 11am here time, we took off for Las Vegas, just under four hours away on proper highways, (not the lame excuses for roads over the Blue Mtns from Sydney, rant over)

 VIEW FROM OUR ROOM there is Las Vegas, then there is nothin'.

After checking  into the Treasure Island hotel casino we admired all those lovely ways of loosing money.

Had an early dinner at Senor Frog, talked into a super margarita, about twice my lethal limit, and admired the work of the balloon lass.

Luckily the Cirque du Soleil show "Mystere" was at the hotel, spent hour and a half watching impossible people doing impossible things, no wonder such a popular act, the others had seen several other shows but my first, probably only but so glad I was able to go.

Then we ventured outside, hot, but crowded, saw the pirate show, and wondered into couple of other nearby casinos, bed at midnight, outrageous :-).

Next morning slept in, had big breakfast, rapidly spend our mad money and came home.

Decided we were better at playing board games FOR FREE. Tikal is my 25th different game played this trip, so going to miss the fun and tension.
