Blast From the Past

Way back in the dark ages when I was growing up my parents had a very big garden, Mum grew magnificent flowers, especially dahlias, Dad did the vegies. I remember well the year we planted over 300 potatoes!!.

Helping was not optional and so when I left home I had been gardened out and pretty much left serious growing stuff behind for many years.

Dad had this magnificent beastie, a Howard Junior cultivator/rotary hoe. My brother had sort of kept track of it over time and rescued it recently in order to dig me a new vegie patch. Isn't it amazing, needs some more tinkering but chopped up that ground in a professional way.
