Time to Go

It is 11am on Sunday 28 December and I have just finished packing, the great adventure is nearly over.

I catch a plane from Flagstaff airport at 6 this evening to LAX and the flight to Aus is scheduled to leave at 10.2opm, arrive back home Tuesday afternoon.

The weather is clear and sunny, just above freezing, the icicles that hang from the eaves of houses are glittering as they slowly melt but the snow stays piled high.

It will be a 'weather shock' to land in Sydney, looking forward to seeing everyone but sure going to miss being here, I have been sooooo spoiled by a bunch of excellent persons.

On Friday we went up to Snowbowl the local snow playground, Coz and Rob were keen to try out their new snowboards. It was a cold, clear day, I spent time in the warm resort and Coz would ring me to say they were nearly down the run so I would go out to see them arrive, a very civilised way of enjoying winter sports from my point of view :-).

Hope to find something to keep blogging about!!!
