Welcome Zac

We has puppy!!, well teenager. Zac belonged to a friend of Fuschia, he is a Jack Russell/Tenterfield Terrier cross, three years old and very well mannered. He came home with me yesterday, a 45 minute car ride, not a problem. This morning he is very quiet, bewildered and lost, a very natural reaction. Not complaining at all, just napping. Also have an amazing amount of dog accoutrements, his owner was lovely enough to include his own basket, bowl, harness, coat and favourite toy, but Fuschia and I went shopping for more toys, longer lead and food, food, food. He started off sleeping in his basket last night, but just in case I put an old towel on my armchair and yep, that's where he ended up and is at this very moment. He is very well housetrained.

I have dogs on both sides of my house and yesterday afternoon as Zac explored the yard there was barking which ever side he was on, he had a couple of barks back and I am hoping it all settles down, tried to introduce him to one set of neighbourhood dogs but they didn't want to know. Luckily he is getting on well with Fuschia's Ludo and Morrie who belongs to brother Tom and Liz. Morrie has just been diagnosed with diabetes, he was not overweight or otherwise unhealthy just one of those things but is now on medication and a very strict diet.

It is very chilly this morning but we will go for a long walk a bit later on.

It is school hols here, last week Hal and his warhammer figures visited and this week Snowpea had lots of snuggy sleep ins, make pancakes one day and budding master chef Snowpea created some great shapes, this was my favourite, I really didn't think it could be turned over but she proved me sooo wrong.
